Local Hooker Rods are carefully constructed and inspected to insure the highest quality and reliability. It is important to note that most warranty failures likely will happen due to outside influence rather than a defect in the rod or workmanship. i.e.; ice coolers, boat decks & gunnels, bridges, doors, dogs, feet, tree branches, 50# braid set at full drag on a 30# rod… to name a couple.
Local Hooker Rods is not responsible for damage caused by misuse, accident, neglect or normal wear. Local Hooker Rods will only warranty rods purchased directly from an authorized dealer or from our web site. You MUST register your rod within 30 days of purchase to qualify for warranty.
Local Hooker Rods carries a limited warranty for the lifetime of the original owner. Any failures due to manufacture defect, defect in materials or construction, Local Hooker Rods will, at its discretion, repair or replace the rod. We do require a check to be enclosed for $30.00 for return handling & shipping. We also require the original Proof-Of-Purchase be accompanied and you must have registered you rod with us. If you do not have the Proof-Of-Purchase or did not register the rod with us we cannot for any reason replace the rod. We will however, where applicable, quote you a price to repair the rod. Damage due to abuse, misuse, neglect, or normal wear and tear may be repaired or replaced for a fee. An estimate will be given before repair or replacement is initiated.
